Cherry dump cake

Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 2 (21 oz.) cans cherry pie filling
  • 1 tsp. almond extract, divided use
  • 1/2 cup (one stick) salted butter, melted

Method

  1. Grease a 9x13 pan.
  2. Add 1/2 tsp of almond extract to each can of cherry pie filling
  3. Pour filling into bottom of pan
  4. Pour cake mix over filling
  5. Pour melted butter over cake mix
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 350° for 50-60 minutes, until topping is golden brown
