I've often wondered just how much bandwidth a Skype call takes. I just got off a 47 minute call with Kathleen, both video and audio. It took only 72 megabytes of data. The system had automatically reduced the video load, I think, to compensate for the weakest part of our connection: the video was grainier and choppier than when I have a hard connection at ASU. Still, the audio was quite good, and the video was adequate. Neat.
