Eclipse
July 4th, 2010It's a rainy Fourth of July here in Kazan, which means our visit to the lake and celebration were cancelled. Bummer. But it left me with the opportunity to go see the movie "Eclipse" in Russian. I enjoyed it.

Lake Karyer
July 5th, 2010Today we went to Lake Karyer for a belated Fourth of July celebration since we were rained out yesterday. The lake is a former sand pit, now filled with lovely, clean, clear water and glorious sandy beaches. My nephew would have loved this place.… more »
Minor purchases
