Second hookah free
There are quite a few hookah parlors in Kazan, where they smoke regular and flavored tobaccos (no opium). Here is an ad for the Ottabush Hookah Club. The yellow letters read "second hookah free":
My attention was caught by the emblem at the side. In America it would probably be considered racism.
Friday's English lesson with Lena covered the "isms": racism, sexism, weightism, ageism, and religious intolerance. She commented to me, "I never think about racism." That surprised me. From a US perspective I don't think an educated person can fail to think about racism. Lena is quite educated, but racism is a non-issue to her mind.

It’s an amazing world for the under 25 set. My kin never do either, interracial date, nothing. it’s plesently odd.
Don responds: In this case I think it’s because they still have a cultural superiority complex and their racial prejudices are unexamined.
A reasonable but doubtful case. So, you’ll drink bubble gum soda and……..but you won’t smoke the local tobacco. For shame : )
