I just want to pinch their cheeks, which I also held back from doing since it's been so long since I've seen them and I wasn't sure that would respond well to being physically harrassed. Papa Dave is sitting in the front. In the back from left to right are mama Cheryl, son Nathan (who I kept wanting to call Daniel… I can never keep my prophets straight), and Annissa. If I recall correctly, Annissa was named using an Arabic term for extravagant hospitality. I like that name, although I would have preferred “Lyudmila Marie” or “Shenikwa Aspergum,” which were the names I had suggested at her birth.
