| The town is named after Simón Bolivar, the South American liberator, though I don't know history well enough to say whether "liberator" should be put in parentheses. They actually pronounce it BALL-uh-vurr, not bow-lee-VAR. And they pronounce "El Dorado Springs" with a doe-RAY-do, which irritates me to no end. |
